In the wake of one of the biggest and most impactf In the wake of one of the biggest and most impactful elections during my lifetime, I'm processing everything and allowing the experience and journey sink in. But, what I didn't expect today from some of our students is that they would enter our sessions with a passion to discuss the election. The 3rd-5th graders at Partee ES and some of our STEAM Academy were aware of the election results, what @kamalaharris and @realdonaldtrump talking points were during the debates and more. To all parents who read this! Let's keep this energy going with our youth! The earlier they are aware with us, the more impactful they will be in their generation to be change agents in their adult. Much respect and much love. Let's keep pressing forward with great intention and faith no matter what!
@legacydrivenyouth was invited by Impact Church Gw @legacydrivenyouth was invited by Impact Church Gwinnett last night for their Harvest Festival. We showed up for the trunk or treat out of our vehicle, and as you can see, the kids were loving it. Let me say, to see a community of people enjoying each other, kids in customs, family's smiling, laughing, and just enjoying the event was awesome. It was done in excellence, and the community was impacted. We were advertising our partnership with the STEAM academy and handed out flyers for our mentoring services to middle and high school students. We said our theme this year was UNLOCKED, and God is blessing us with opportunities to serve our community. So, we know our latter is going to be higher than our former. Let's GO. Back at it!! We're not stopping for our minority youth.
We’re asked quite a bit. What is the main focus We’re asked quite a bit. What is the main focus of what and how we mentor our 3rd-12th grade students in our programming? The answer is that everything revolves around the word FAITH. Absolutely everything! Faith to change. Faith to embrace new information. Faith to let go of current behaviors. Faith to try your idea, expand your thinking. Faith to eat healthier. Faith to withstand being uncomfortable while believing that something great is happening. Faith to ask for help. Help me! Faith to cry the trauma out! I say, Faith, to release the trauma towards healing! Faith to not be what or who you see on social media, but be who YOU are becoming…your authentic self! Testimonials are coming….we’re unlocking all the potential in our youth as their lives are at stake. All in, All Faith!
