What Is A Fundraising Campaign?

A fundraising campaign is fundraising that happens over an extended period of time and highlights a specific, predetermined goal.

Nonprofits use fundraising campaigns to raise awareness about their missions, and more specifically, the program or initiative for which they are currently soliciting donations.

Mom, you were Legacy Driven in all things! I honor Mom, you were Legacy Driven in all things! I honor you, thank God for you, and I miss you. God called you home. You worked tirelessly as a woman, wife, and mother. Thank you for the values, morals, lessons, and so much more you deposited into your family. You gave to us. You gave to others, and you never asked for anything in return! God gave and showed me through your actions how giving and serving others is a blessing and honor to do. To all the young and adult ladies reading this post, she REPRESENTED YOU as a woman at the highest level with class, faith, perseverance, and more. Every day of my life, she held her 👑 high. Hold yours high at all times too! To our young people, embrace the positive teachings of your parent(s) and the community of people that speak life into you! You’re being TRAINED for something in your lifetime. Don’t take those lessons learned for granted. Keep the memories close to your heart and act on them accordingly so you’re blessed, too. I thank everyone for your prayers, texts, calls, follow-ups, flowers, and more. They are keeping me in peace and sound mind. For my spiritual parents, @wileyjackson and @firstladymaryj, your unwavering wisdom and support…thank you so much for all you have and do in my life. There’s more Legacy Driven work to do. Yesterday in an 8th grade class, I asked the stude Yesterday in an 8th grade class, I asked the students if there were any new news that they're following? One young man said basketball. I said, oh yea the playoffs are too good this year. Teams are going all out aren't they? He said, I'm talking about Ja! #jamorant #grizzlies I said, elaborate (by this time, most of the class, especially the black boys we're focused in...quiet). Then some of the boys around the class started chiming in. One said, "Ja too lit. He doing too much. He about to lose big." Another said, "His father must be ok with it". Then the one I honed in on was when a boy said, "He trying to be someone he NOT"! I looked at all the students because at that point, it was kind of quiet. They wanted to hear responses. I clapped for all of them in thankfulness! Then some of them started clapping with me like we do in Elementary School when youre trying to get the class to pipe down a bit. They are so silly!🤣🤣 I love it though. 💯 I expressed to them firmly. Be who you ARE becoming, not who you are NOT! With social medis especially its easy to copy! The young boy said it perfectly and I'm so glad these young kids get it and I just hope that way of thinking stays with them through life. So, the video of one of my top 5 MCs @andre3000 says it perfectly. Don't be who you NOT. Take time to find who you are and get comfortable in your own skin. That's where the greatness your made of is! #legacydriven
We want to introduce Ms Jaeda. This young lady cam We want to introduce Ms Jaeda. This young lady came in our @ladiesoflegacydriven Special Painting session Wednesday and spoke to our girls about Middle School, her experience and how the transition has been for her since entering. Ms Jaeda excels in the Gifted/Accelerated program at @generalsconnect. In the first picture is her with her father and we’re thankful for dad allowing her the opportunity to speak publicly and share a bit of her story. Part 2 is coming soon. So, why Jaeda! I’ve known Jaeda through talking with dad mostly. She also helped us at our @parteepta events. But, then I got a chance to substitute teach in one of her classes and saw Jaeda in action. After seeing her focus, fun attitude with her classmates, serving her friends when they needed assistance and her smile with a firm voice. All I thought was……She’s Ready! Leadership can either be learned, already within from God or just not! She has the tangibles NOW! So, we’re thankful to watch her grow in her gifts & talents. As we meet young men and ladies like Jaeda, we will always offer them a platform to share and grow at their pace, not ours! Please view our session pics. Today was Signing Day for one of our own. Mr Tobia Today was Signing Day for one of our own. Mr Tobias' signing day at @shsgenerals was today at 130pm (1st pic - mom and sister). We're so proud of Tobias signing with @brevardcollegef5 to continue his craft, passion and love for football. Tobias has been a great supporter of all things Legacy Driven. Being the oldest to 3 brothers and Miss Sarasia his sister, his example has always been respectful. All of us here love you young brother and were always here for you. All of our mentors have participated in some way with Tobias over the years since he was in Middle School and were elated about his next level of academics and sports.
